Panto Success

The school would like to thank the PTFA and school community for organising a fantastic panto and raising money for Bristol Children’s Hospital and the school.

Thank you

Congratulations to Clutton’s first Head Boy and Head Girl, Sophie and Oliver.

They represent and model our school values and help meet and greet visitors.

If you visit Clutton School it may be that Sophie and Oliver will show you around and tell you all about our fantastic learning community and all the exciting things we do.

Clutton Primary School converted to academy status on 1st March 2015, joining the Midsomer Norton Schools’ Partnership.

The children, staff and governors  are already experiencing and enjoying the many benefits that being part of the MSNSP can bring.

At Clutton Primary School we have high expectations of all our children and staff and encourage everyone to, ‘be the best they can be.’

Ofsted say, “Teachers and teaching assistants have high expectations and good subject knowledge.”

We provide high quality teaching and learning experiences for all our children

Our Ofsted report January 2014 confirms,
“This is a good school…All pupils make good progress.”
“Teaching is routinely good in lessons and some is outstanding.”

We recognise individual talents and
develop confidence so every child
is motivated and inspired

In the words of Ofsted, “The range of subjects and
wider educational experiences … mean that all
pupils are able to develop as rounded learners.”

We believe that children learn best
when they feel happy, safe and secure

Ofsted observed that, “Pupils behave well and have highly positive attitudes to learning.”

The strong partnerships that we build
with parents and the community
help children to thrive

Ofsted saw that, “Staff, parents and carers are all highly
positive about the school and all that it does for its pupils.”
