We are a happy, family school at the heart of our local community. We recognise and value the uniqueness of every child, helping all to achieve their best within a safe, secure and creative environment.
The progress and wellbeing of each individual child is of paramount importance. Through a broad and engaging curriculum we strive to ensure that each child develops a lively, creative and curious mind to lay the foundations for their journey as a lifelong learner. With a strong moral code, we encourage self-confidence, independence and a sense of mutual respect, and help them grow into positive, responsible people who can work with others and who are better equipped for life today.
Our Head of School, Lucy Cowgill, works alongside our Executive Headteacher, Dan Turull, to provide the best possible opportunities for the children at our school.

Newsletter 21 - February 23rd 2024:
Welcome to an action packed but rather soggy start to Term 4. From sporting events and World Book Day to class trips, the Year 6 residential, sporting events, the Bulb Show and the Easter Olympics to name but a few will be taking place over the coming weeks. We look forward to sharing photos as each event occurs.
We have some new faces in school. Amelia Bissex, a former pupil, started on Monday as our Teaching Assistant apprentice and we welcomed 3 new PGCE teaching students - Ms Brady in Cherry Class, Mr Morgan in Maple Class and Miss Simms in Sycamore Class who will be with us until June.
On Monday we welcomed the horticultural society who came to talk to the children about the bulb show (details of which are towards the end of this newsletter) and yesterday Tim Parker, a singing coach from the BANES music service came to work with Maple and Willow Class teaching them songs ready for their big ‘Hear My Voice’ singing festival in Bath on Monday March 18th.
Parents of children in Maple and Willow - We only found out on Tuesday that we had secured a place at this sought after event so details will be shared with you as soon as possible. As the festival does not finish until 3pm we will not be arriving back at school until approximately 3.45 on this day. We are currently trying to secure a coach to take us to and from the event.
