Clutton School wins Girls Netball Tournament - report by Chloe Deacon Yr 6

On Tuesday 22nd March some of the Year 5&6 girls played a netball tournament.  Having drawn 1 and winning 2 matches, we finished top of our group meaning we qualified for the semi-finals. We played St Mary’s with a comfortable 2-0 win taking us all the way to the finals and then we won! It was a close score between Trinity and Clutton, but after extra time we won 3-2 and got a gold medal each and a plaque for the school!   Everyone played really well, showing fantastic teamwork and a competitive edge.  We are the first small school to win it for a number of years.  We now go onto the four counties finals representing BANES which is being held in Bristol in two weeks time.
