The school is very fortunate to have an amazing PTFA and school community.
The PTFA have organised some brilliant events over the years, bringing the school community together and raising much needed funds to help with things that the school’s regular budget cannot extend to.
In the past, the PTFA have helped with some major investments including new media equipment in the hall, an adventure playground, reading spine books and Astroturf. Recently the fundraising has supported new football and netball goals, media equipment, the annual whole school treat to the panto in Bath, not to mention supporting the building of the sandpit area as part of our OPAL project. Many hands make light work. We’re a very small team of people running the PTFA and are always looking for new members and volunteers.
You don’t have to be an active committee member with a named role, but you are always more than welcome to be.
We run fundraising events throughout the year and that money goes towards extra curricular things in school that bene.it all children.

Our regular meetings are normally held in the Railway Inn of an evening.

The PTFA are hosting a clothes swap at the Railway Inn on Friday 22nd November 7-9pm.
Please come along and support this event, and maybe grab yourself a new outfit !
Despite the rain (a lot of rain), our utterly amazing PTFA set up and ran a bonfire and firework night for the wider community - what an amazing event!
Many who watched from the shelter of their homes also donated to the PTFA which is very much appreciated.

Our fabulous PTFA have kick started the academic year with another amazing Carnival and fun day.
A great time was had by everyone, making crafts and getting dressed up for the great procession.
Bringing the community together and raising funds for the school
This week the PTFA organised a charity Copperline. Everyone brought in their spare coppers, and each class made a line. All funds raised go towards resources and events for the school.
The final total raised is yet to be counted (I imagine this may take a while), however the results per class were as follows:
Cherry Class - 50m WOW!
Maple Class - 36m
Willow Class - 19m
Sycamore Class - 14m
Oak Class - 12m

The bonfire Night was the best bonfire event the PTFA have hosted for the village community, and it was AMAZING!

The PTFA is a registered charity and must be run in accordance with our constitution (PTFA constitution (2010)). You are welcome to join the Committee and come to PTFA meetings at any time.
